Privacy note
Akalas Play (play.akalas.tech) is run by Akalas Tech. This note explains what we collect when you play and why.
What we collect
- Name and email, when you join the leaderboard. Your name shows on the leaderboard. Your email is never shown publicly.
- IP address and browser type, each time you open the site or finish a game. We use these to count how many different people play, to stop spam scores, and to remember how many free games and “Not now” skips a device has used.
- Game results: which game, win, loss or draw, difficulty, and the points you earned.
- A random ID stored in your browser so your guest games can be added to your account when you join.
- While the site is open, your browser joins a live “online now” count. Only the number is shown.
What we don't do
We don't sell your data or share it with advertisers. If you play your own music, the file stays on your device and is never uploaded.
Where it's stored
Data is stored with our database provider, Supabase. Only the site owner can read emails and IP addresses.
Your choices
To see, correct or delete your data, email hello@akalas.tech from the address you signed up with. We'll act on it within 30 days.
